The Club

For a few years now we have been playing match play against various Stockholm clubs. One of these clubs is Järfälla TS, whom we met for the fifth time last Saturday, 17 October. Twice we have come close to winning.

This time we won clearly, 22-15 in matches. Each team fielded a total of 20 players, evenly split between men and women. Singles, doubles and mixed. Everyone played three matches of 40 minutes.

Special thanks to Cathrine Särnqvist, Håkan Olsson and Eyvind Lekander, who kept everything together for us in the best possible way. They arrived fired up, with Daniel Nyman in the lead.

We are aiming for the return match in Järfälla on 8 May 2027.

Become a member of Stockholms Tennisklubb and you will also receive all invitations to fun activities. This is done via Matchi.

Kind regards

This year's autumn trip went to Na Taconera on Mallorca. Besides 14 hours of tennis with three coaches (Anders Rosén head coach), there was also an excursion to the Gardell family's vineyard Bodega Oloron. Fantastic weather, wonderful atmosphere and lovely people. If you would also like to become a member and join our activities, the easiest way is via MATCHi

On Saturday 29 August, some of those taking part in the Challenger Ladder met to play short singles matches. Good standard of play and many well-played matches. Anton Neijber, Mikael Holmgren, Daniel af Klintberg and Jacob Ahl made it to the semi-finals. The final winner was Anton Neijber, who besides the glory was awarded a club cap.

About ten members travelled to Vetlanda Racketklubb on 21–23 August. Joining the trip was the well-known figure Pelle Hjertquist, who has among other things won ATP titles in singles and doubles and been in charge of the Stockholm Open and Kings of Tennis. Besides 10 hours of tennis over three days with three coaches, we spent time at Wallby Säteri, where Magnus Nyman welcomed us in the best possible way. This was the second trip to Småland. There will be more.

🎾 Member information – Summer and autumn 2026

Hello!

Summer is here and we would like to take the opportunity to tell you what is happening in the club over the summer and give a little sneak peek at the autumn's activities.

☀️ The hall is open all summer

Stockholms Tennishall is open all summer, albeit with somewhat limited opening hours.

Between 22 June and 31 July you play at half price.

We know it is most fun of all to play outdoors on clay, but this summer too it will rain from time to time. Then it is nice to know that the playing guarantee is indoors.

🎾 Sign-In

The coach-led Sign-In tennis takes a summer break and returns in mid-August.

During the summer, however, I will put out a number of sessions without a coach, both singles and doubles and at different playing levels.

The sessions are posted on Monday and booked as usual via Matchi:
